SUMMATION LETTER

An Audit Summation Letter is issued to a provider after the completion of an audit when no findings are identified. The letter will state that the provider was in compliance with applicable Federal and State laws, regulations, rules, and policies governing the New York State Medicaid EHR Incentive Program, including verification of program eligibility and the Adoption/Implementation/Upgrade or Meaningful Use (MU) of a certified EHR system. Once the Audit Summation Letter is issued, the audit will be closed and no further action will be needed from the provider.
