Event: New York State Drinking Water Quality Council to Meet on May 2, 2022

What: The New York State Drinking Water Quality Council (DWQC) will hold a meeting to further consider proposed MCLs for four prioritized long-chain PFAS and notification levels for the remaining 19 PFAS identified in recent modifications to Public Health Law 1112.

Date: Monday, May 2, 2022

Time: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM

The meeting will be held in person for council members and is open to the public. The meeting may also be viewed via live Webcasting.

Public Comments: Public comment may occur either in-person or remotely. Further instruction will be forthcoming to those that register to comment.

Written comments can be submitted to DWQC@health.ny.gov; all comments received prior to 4/28 will be provided to the DWQC prior to the meeting. Oral comments will be possible via sign-up prior to the meeting with sign-ups taken beginning on 4/25 at the above email.
