Media Advisory: New York State Department of Health to Honor Fallen Emergency Medical Services Professionals

ALBANY (May 19, 2015) - The New York State Department of Health (DOH) will honor the efforts and sacrifices made by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) professionals and volunteers to protect New Yorkers and add two names to the state's 'Tree of Life' Memorial, recognizing EMS workers who have lost their lives in the service of others.

The ceremony is being held in conjunction with National EMS Week, which began on May 17.
