Single Source Procurement: Test Kits, No-Cost Time Extension

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), the New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, material, and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The Newborn Screening Program will extend contract PA31884 with Perkin Elmer Health Sciences, Inc. at no extra cost. The extension is necessary pending approval of adding NeoLSD kit 3093-001U to Perkin Elmer OGS contract PC67247. Once the item is added to the OGS contract, the PA contact will be terminated.
