Single Source Procurement: HIV/STI/Viral Hepatitis Training Services

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health, HIV/STI/Viral Hepatitis Training Services Program has made a determination to issue a Single Source Procurement to 11 eligible grantees to support ongoing currently funded projects.

The New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute (NYSDOH AI) is proposing to again extend eleven (11) training and education contracts for HIV, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) and viral hepatitis for an additional five (5) months while the Request for Applications (RFA) process is completed. These contracts provide an array of training and educational interventions throughout New York State (NYS) including: in-person trainings; conferences; live and archived webinars; web-based trainings; digital learning tools; and other emerging distance-based technologies.
