Single Source Procurement: Improving Linkage & Access to Hep C Care

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.

The New York State Department of Health, AIDS Institute, has made a determination to issue funding extending 15 Hepatitis C (HCV) Improving Linkage and Access to Care and Treatment contracts for an additional three months, April 1, 2020 – June 30, 2020. The services provided under these contracts link people newly identified with HCV or known to have untreated HCV to comprehensive HCV medical care and treatment. Continued services have created an innovative HCV care and treatment model that eliminates patient, provider and health care system barriers.
