Single Source Procurement: Corrections to Community Care Continuum Initiative (Three (3), 9-month contract extensions)

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law §163.10(b), the New York State Department of (DOH) is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.

The below contracts will be extended 9 months while a competitive procurement in their regions is completed. The extension will prevent a gap in services. The contracts fund peer training, education and support; anonymous HIV testing; and other prevention and support services for individuals residing in NYS Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (DOCCS) correctional facilities. Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected firms/entities, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
