Single Source Procurement: Asthma Control Program

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health Asthma Control Program has made a determination to issue a Single Source Procurement to one contract to support ongoing currently funded projects.

The NYSDOH Asthma Control Program is funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention cooperative agreement to Health Research Inc./NYS to provide the most efficient and effective use of NYS asthma appropriations dedicated to addressing NY’s asthma burden.

Project BREATHE NY, the NYS Asthma Management in Schools and School-Based Health Centers initiative, and support the adoption and implementation of evidence-based policies supportive of asthma control from American Lung Association, Inc.
