Single Source Procurement: American Indian Health Clinic Program
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health American Indian Health Clinic Program has made a determination to issue a Single Source Procurement to one eligible grantees to support ongoing currently funded projects.
The American Indian Health Program (AIHP) provides access to outpatient primary medical care, specialty medical care, dental, vision, pharmacy, short term skilled nursing and preventive health services for Native people. All covered services are for out-patient care only.
The Nations are sovereign governmental entities. Their governments are the sole legitimate representatives of these sovereign Nations, as recognized under treaties with the United States and the State of New York.
