Single Source Procurement: Provider Education Program Clinical Guidelines Contract Extensions

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health, Provider Education Program Clinical Guidelines Program has made a determination to issue a Single Source Procurement to one eligible grantee to support ongoing currently funded projects.

The New York State Department of Health AIDS Institute (NYSDOH AI) is seeking to extend this contract with Johns Hopkins University for twelve (12) months while a new competitive procurement is completed, and a new contract is awarded. The procurement process has been delayed due to COVID-19.

Johns Hopkins University manages a Clinical Guidelines Program, which encompasses a wide range of professional processes and activities associated with the development, dissemination, implementation, and evaluation of clinical practice guidelines.
