Single Source Procurement: : Opioid Overdose Prevention Program

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), the New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, material, and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The AIDS Institute will issue contract C037913 with the Emergent Devices, Inc. to purchase life-saving Narcan. This is a one-year contract with the option for four additional one-year renewals. Due to the specific circumstances of this procurement and the unique qualifications of the selected vendor, a competitive procurement was not feasible in this instance.
