Single Source Procurement: Outreach to Increase COVID-19 Vaccinations
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), the New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, material, and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The Office of Public Health Practice on behalf of the Bureau of Immunization will issue contract C037071 with the New York State Association of County Health Officials (NYSACHO) to provide immediate and ongoing assistance and support to Local Health Departments (LHDs) related to the current COVID pandemic in an effort to increase COVID vaccinations. A competitive procurement was not feasible due to the urgent public health crisis.
