Single Source Procurement: Physician Workforce Studies

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), the New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, material, and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The Office of Primary Care and Health Systems Management has made a determination to contract with The Research Foundation for SUNY on a single source basis to conduct physician workforce research at the local, regional, state, and national levels. There was insufficient time to design program specifications and issue a competitive procurement in time to meet deadlines.
