Single Source Procurement: Academic Detailing for Vaccines for Children (VFC) Providers

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), the New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, material, and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health, Center for Community Health, Bureau of Immunization has made a determination to award a new contract to the New York State Academy of Family Physicians (NYSAFP) for academic detailing visits to VFC physicians to reduce vaccine hesitancy among parents.
