Single Source Procurement: Centering Pregnancy Pilot Program
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. Centering Health Care Institute (CHI) CenteringPregnancy model of care is a unique and proprietary approach to achieving improved birth outcomes in 46 States, serving over 70,000 patients on an annual basis. A competitive approach is not feasible since CHI owns the rights to the CenteringPregnancy model of care which no other organization can provide.
