Single Source Procurement: Person-Centered Planning Statewide Training Initiative X-4

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health Division of Program Development and Management (DPDM) Program has made a determination to issue a Single Source Procurement to one (1) eligible vendor to support ongoing currently funded projects.

The Department has a current contract with Public Consulting Group (PCG) for the Person-Centered Planning Comprehensive System Transformation Statewide Training Initiative, Contract # C033972. The contract was awarded in response to a competitive procurement, Request for Proposals (RFP), #17625. A contract extension is needed to prevent a gap in training services until a new contractor can be competitively selected to administer the training initiative.
