Single Source Procurement: Vital Access Provider Technical Assistance
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health, Office of Health Insurance Programs (OHIP), is amending contract C033306 Vital Access Provider (VAP) Technical Assistance with Island Peer Review Organization, Inc. (IPRO) for an additional twelve (12) month period. The amendment will extend the contract from August 31, 2019 through August 30, 2020 at no additional cost and will allow IPRO to continue to provide VAP Technical Assistance until a contractor can be competitively selected through the Request for Proposals (RFP) process.
