Single Source Procurement: New York State Immunization System (NYSIIS) Program
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law §163.10(b), the New York State Department of Health (DOH) is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health’s Center for Community Health (CCH) program has made a determination to issue a Single Source Procurement to one vendor to assure there is no interruption of essential services. A competitive procurement for this service was not feasible as there is still time remaining on the current contract. The New York State Immunization Information System’s (NYSIIS) functionality and enhancements must continue as NYSIIS continues to be critical for the New York State Department of Health’s emergency response efforts.
