Single Source Procurement: CANS-NY Technical Assistance Institute Contract Assignment

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), the New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, material, and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health, Division of Program Development Management has made a determination to assign contract C032075 from Chapin Hall Center for Children at the University of Chicago (Chapin Hall) to the University of Kentucky (UK). It has been determined that assigning the contract to the University of Kentucky is necessary to ensure ongoing success of the Child and Adolescent Needs and Strengths Assessment for New York (CANS-NY) contract scope when the highly trained staff leave Chapin Hall to begin employment at UK.
