Single Source Procurement: Performance Monitoring, No-Cost Time Extension

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), the New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, material, and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The Program Performance Monitoring and Quality Improvement in Maternal and Child Health Programs will extend contract C031615 with Island Peer Review Organization, Inc. at no extra cost to allow for completion of contract deliverables that were interrupted due to several factors, including many COVID-related delays. The contract is used to improve the quality of care provided to maternal and child populations served by the Division of Family Health (DFH) including Family Planning, School Based Health Centers, School Based Health Center-Dental Programs and New York’s system of Perinatal Regionalized hospital care.
