Single Source Procurement: Medicaid Transportation Management - Hudson Valley Region
Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), the New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, material, and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The Office of Health Insurance Programs, Division of Program Development and Management, has made a determination to extend contract C031346 with Medical Answering Services, LLC on a single source basis, with additional cost, to manage and arrange non-emergency medical transportation services in the Hudson Valley Region. The extension will prevent a gap in service while the Department finalizes and issues an RFP for future services.
