Single Source Procurement: Annual Independent External Audit

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), the New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, material, and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health, New York State of Health (NYSoH) has made a determination to extend its contract at additional cost with KPMG, LLC for Annual Independent External Audits until September 30, 2020. The extension is needed due to delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic-related workforce restrictions, and subsequent change in the audit due date issued by the Center for Medicaid & Medicare Services (CMS)..
