Single Source Procurement: Investigational New Drug Studies Program

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The 5 facilities are the only pediatric epidemiologists in NY State with the ongoing clinical trials approved by the FDA and a relationship with Pharmaceuticals to supply the study drug. The are the only sites in NYS where the study drug can be used.
