Single Source Procurement: Development, Printing, Computer Based Administration, Scoring and Distribution of EMS Examinations

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The New York State Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services and Trauma Systems (BEMSATS) has made a determination to issue a Single Source Procurement to one (1) vendor to support ongoing currently funded projects.

This contract is for a 24-month (2 year) extension to the current contract with PSI Services, LLC to ensure there is uninterrupted administration and scoring of examinations for emergency medical (EMS) provider certification and recertification training.
