Single Source Procurement: NY State of Health (NYSOH) Information Technology (IT) System Operation and Enhancement, Cost Extension

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), the New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, material, and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible. The Office of Health Insurance Programs (OHIP), Division of Operations and Systems will extend contract C027853 with CSRA State and Local Solutions LLC at additional cost. The extension will allow OHIP to continue to operate and enhance the NY State of Health (NYSOH) Information Technology (IT) system while efforts to develop a competitive procurement for these services continue. The competitive procurement was delayed due to a combination of budget constraints and COVID-related staff diversion.
