Single Source Procurement: Provide Adult Home and Licensed Home Care Services Agencies Surveys

Pursuant to New York State Finance Law § 163.10(b), The New York State Department of Health is presenting the following summary of relevant circumstances, and material and substantial reasons why a competitive procurement was not feasible.

The New York State Department of Health has made a determination to issue a Single Source Procurement to temporarily extend contract C020994 with the New York County Health Services Review Organization that provide adult home and licensed home care services agencies surveys.

New York County Health Services Review Organization was awarded a contract as a result of the competitive procurement process. This is a six-month extension of the contract under the same terms, conditions, and pricing authorized under the existing contract. The single source extension period will allow for the continuation of critical services pending outcome of a new competitive procurement that is currently being conducted to obtain these services.
