Dear Administrator:
This letter provides information regarding your Cash Receipts Assessment (CRA) reimbursement rates effective January 1, 2022.
In accordance with §2807-d(2)(b) of the Public Health Law, a separate rate (rate code 3836) is associated with the CRA. The 2022 rates have been reconciled with actual liabilities and CY2022 days. The processing for these CRA rates will take effect in cycle 2429, with a check release date of 3/27/2024. The retroactive payments associated with the updated rates were processed in cycles 2430 and 2431 due to a high volume of adjustments at the end of the state fiscal year.
Facilities have 30 days from the date of this letter to submit appeals. Any appeals to these rates must be the result of technical errors in the calculation and/or implementation of the cash receipts assessment rate (see attached for CRA correction form).
