Dear Administrator:
This letter provides information regarding updates to your Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) rates for the periods beginning April 1, 2023 and January 1, 2024. These rates contain the following updates:
April 1, 2023
- 7.5% Across the Board (ATB) Nursing Home Investment: Chapter 57 of the laws of 2023 established a uniform rate increase to the operating component of nursing home rates in the amount of 7.5%. The Department has increased the operating component of ADHC rates by 7.5%.
January 1, 2024
- Update for 2024 capital component. The ADHC capital component has been updated for facilities reporting capital expenses and ADHC patient days in the 2022 RHCF cost report.

The processing for the 7.5% ATB operating investment and 2024 capital updates will take effect in cycle #2448 with a release date of 8/7/24. Should you have any questions regarding these payments please email NFRATES@health.ny.govand someone will respond to your inquiry.
