Support Services for Families of Children with Hearing Loss
Providing appropriate support and education to parents and family members of a child with hearing loss is a vital element of the family-focused intervention process. While not all families require the same level of support, it is important that they be given opportunities to discuss the impact of hearing loss on their family, receive support from their peers or professionals, and receive professional counseling.
