Guide to Community Preventive Services, also known as the Community Guide, was developed by a, non-Federal Task Force on Community Preventive Services (Task Force), appointed by the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This group was convened in 1996 by the Department of Health and Human Services to provide leadership in the evaluation of community, population, and health care system strategies to address a variety of public health and health promotion topics.
Compendium of HIV Prevention Services with Evidence of Effectiveness The National Center for HIV, STD, and TB Prevention, Division of HIV/AIDS Prevention at CDC developed this Compendium to organize science-based interventions that prevent HIV transmission.

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)'s National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices: NREPP is a searchable database of interventions for the prevention and treatment of mental and substance use disorders. SAMHSA has developed this resource to help people, agencies, and organizations implement programs and practices in their communities.
