New York State Access Monitoring Review Plan
As part of ongoing efforts to ensure New York State Medicaid members are able to access needed medical services in a manner comparable to other New Yorkers and in accordance with 42 CFR 447.203, New York State has developed and published the Access Monitoring Review Plan (AMRP) for the following services provided under a Medicaid fee-for-service (FFS) arrangement:
- Primary Care Services;
- Physician Specialist Services;
- Behavioral Health Services;
- Pre/Post-Natal Obstetric Services; and
- Home Health Services.
The AMRP provides information and data that will be used to measure access to care for the AMRP services for members in FFS Medicaid.
