DAL 14-26: Revised List of Transitional Adult Homes
Dear Adult Home Administrator:
Effective January 16, 2013, regulations found at Sections 460-d, 461, and 461-e of the Social Services Law, Section 486.7 of Part 486 and Part 487 of Title 18 of the Official Compilation of Codes, Rules and Regulations of the State of New York (NYCRR), were amended and adopted. As referenced in the Dear Adult Home Administrator Letter 13-01, the regulations directly affect New York State's adult homes.
DAL 13-01 also included Attachment B: List of Transitional Adult Homes. Please be advised that the list, revised on September 10, 2014 (DAL 14-08), has been revised again. The newly revised list (DAL 14-26 Attachment A: Revised List of Transitional Adult Homes) is posted in the Health Commerce System under the Dear Administrator Letters for 2014 and on the public website at http://www.health.ny.gov/facilities/adult_care/dear_administrator_letters/. The updated list reflects the deletion of adult homes that no longer meet the definition of a Transitional Adult Home. The list will be revised, in the future, as needed.
